This mat gives your sheet pan a non-stick surface for delicate or messy baking projects. Produced using FDA (USA) and LFGB (Europe) approved materials, these are oven, microwave, and freezer safe and the silicone mats can also be used on the countertop for all types of dough. Mats clean up quickly and easily with soap and water and allow to air dry. Mats are also dishwasher approved for top rack only. The mats will not absorb food orders or flavors and are perfect for the avid baker or the seasonal holiday cook. The included directions for cleaning and storage state: - DO NOT cut or use sharp objects on the mat. - NEVER use a cut or torn mat! It's not the intended use and I don't think I would. Perhaps there's a manufacturer's note somewhere in the description?

Note: After I melted one of these (turns out not all of them are as heat resistant as suggested), 
I got another brand, and they are WAY BETTER. Best Baking Mat Set...I probably 
buy too many things on Amazon. Lol

Pretty good all around. I did find out the hard way not to cut anything on them though. 
Probably should've mentioned it (though I probably should've known better). My Chef's 
knife is pretty sharp. I kinda cut one apart...ooops. :)
